Strongman Brian Shaw lifted almost a thousand pounds at a Chinese competition in 2013.

The freakishly large weights – which look like something out of a cartoon – equaled 442.5 kilos, or about 975 pounds. In the video (below) you can hear fans prompting the strongman to “pick it up” – which he does.
31-year old Shaw won first place in the competition, which he also won back in 2011.
