A 73-year old gun safety instructor accidentally shot one of his students in the arm during a day-long course on carrying concealed weapons.

Terry J. Dunlap Sr. apparently didn’t realize the gun was loaded, when it went off. The bullet ricocheted off of a desk and hit 26-year old Michael Piemonte in the right arm. Piemonte was attending the class with his wife, who narrowlly missed being hit. The student was taken to a nearby hospital, treated, and released.
No charges were filed… and the instructor has declined comment.
